So here we have it, after many requests we have finally decided to blog our studio. Its a very special place where memories are created, tears of joy are shed and a lot of hard work happens 🙂 We invite you in to take a seat on our comfy sofa, have a cuppa and dig into some choc’s 🙂 We spend a lot of time in this room, shooting, editing, chatting, client viewings, marketing, and of course slumped on the sofa in the evening with a glass of wine brainstorming 🙂 We do love our gorgeous little personal space, where we haven’t far to travel, where our children can be around and where clients themselves can feel like they are in a home from home. We love the friends we have gained from our bubbaloo clients. We love how clients are open and honest and we chat through life. I’ve not only been a stylist but a breastfeeding advice giver a shoulder to cry on and someone to laugh with. We truly love our personal experience and we do think a lot of it is down to our home studio. The studio space talk has been a hot topic recently. It still continues…..but for now this is where Bubbaloo will stay.

Looks like a great space thanks for sharing love the way you have your backdrops stored might have to try that myself.
HI Gemma,Thank you. Simple to do the hooks are 90p from ikea! Bargin 🙂
yes, it’s true. I totally agree
LOVE THIS! Thank you for sharing your beautiful studio! Do you mind sharing what size it is? like sq. footage? What a great use of the space!
Lovely studio! I found you through pinterest and was wondering what you use for lighting?
Thank you all. Our studio measurements are 8 x 11 (5.99m x 3.43m) We have alot of natural light in our studio, but we mainly use just one 5ft octo soft box. Hope this helps 🙂
what size backdrops do you use?
Hi Becky,
It depends really as all the back drops are different sizes. They average between 4ft wide and 6ft High. Hope this helps 🙂
I’m moving my studio in to a small space…. 14ft x 19ft. I saw that you had written in an earlier reply that yours was 8×11, but I wasn’t sure if that’s in ft. You space is truly an inspiration 🙂 thank you
Hi Subrina, Thank you, This is in ft 🙂 so yours will be bigger 🙂
Hi!! I am getting ready to move into a small space and am worried about my lens. I have an 85mm and I’m wondering what lens you guys shoot with.
Is the whole space 8×11 or just the area where the backdrop and flooring are? Cause that seems rather small compared to where the couch is, desk, storage, and shooting area.
Hi! Beautiful space! I will be moving in to a 10×16 shed at the end of the year so this was great inspiration! I am also worries about needing a different lens in such a small space. I mostly use a 50mm 1.4 on my canon 7D. Wondering what lens you use? Thanks!
Lovely studio space! Where did you get the portfolio book on the coffee table?
