Photographic Editor/Retoucher Wanted

Bubbaloo Photography is a family run business offering a bespoke portrait solution to families in the Manchester and surrounding areas.
As the business is growing, so too is our own brood, meaning we are in need of a part time photo editor to join our team.

The position will be approximately 18 hours a week over 2-3 days, based in our studio at Worsley, Manchester. This is strictly an on-site opportunity, with no flexibility to work remotely, so please do not apply if you are not based in the Greater Manchester area.

This is a freelance position, and payment will be made on a per hour basis at £6.50 to start, but this will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Who we’re looking for
We are immensely proud of the excellent reputation we have built, so we need someone with exceptional skills & plenty of experience.

You will be able to maintain our high standards, while also really getting a feel for the Bubbaloo in-house style, which you should familiarize yourself with before applying.
(Examples can be found on our blog at: www.bubbaloophotography.com/blog)

We’re interested in hearing from you if the following apply:
-you’re highly-skilled in Photoshop and Lightroom
(including knowledge of actions)

Job Description
All the necessary equipment is provided, you would be working on a 27 inch screen IMAC.
The work involves processing and re-touching RAW image files from our baby shoots to a high standard, ready for the customer to view. This includes colour correction, cropping, general cleaning up and some skin smoothing.
The job also involves making images ordered by clients print ready. A critical eye for detail and high standards of quality control are essential!
Other processing may include album design or sometimes leaflet design, so knowledge of photoshop illustrator would be beneficial. Experience of using other software like imovie and adobe final cut would be a bonus.

Interview
Applicants invited to interview will be given 10 images, a mixture of studio and outdoor to process, so that we can see the quality of your work first hand.
